Aylesbury police officer Ashleigh Frith set for misconduct hearing

A FORMER police officer allegedly skipped two shifts after falsely claiming they had to look after their children.

Police Constable Ashleigh Frith, who was based at Aylesbury Police Station before resigning, is set to be the subject of a police misconduct hearing next month.

The hearing has been called in relation to two incidents in January and June 2021 in which it is alleged that PC Frith dishonestly told his line manager that he was looking after his children so that he did not have to attend his duty shift.

PC Frith has been charged with breaching standards of professional behaviour and if the allegations are proven, they would amount to gross misconduct.

The hearing to decide whether PC Frith is guilty of gross misconduct will take place on Wednesday, January 12, 2022.
