I am not sure if Jonathan Vernon was intentionally trying to stir John Hagan, but his comments are utter rubbish!
I do not think he understands that many officers (not all) see the taser as a given right to use in situations that are not required.

He goes on to say 71% of the public more officers to carry tasers, I would be curious to know the source of this information, and, the basis for their belief as if Jonathan Vernon is spouting on radio that all taser victims are SCUM, then people may listen to the cretin!
