Lincolnshire Police officer PC Riches to face misconduct hearing

A Lincolnshire police constable will face a misconduct hearing next month. PC Claire Riches is accused of breaching standards of professional behaviour.

PC Riches is based at Boston Police Station. An accelerated misconduct hearing will be held on May 10.

The conduct, if proved, would amount to gross misconduct. The alleged behaviour occurred between September 2019 and February 2021.

It is alleged that PC Riches breached a number of standards of professional behaviour. These have been listed as breaches of:

  • Confidentiality
  • Orders and instructions
  • Discreditable conduct

It is alleged that between September 2019 and February 2021 their conduct breached the standards of professional behaviour in respect of their use of and access to confidential police systems. If proved, it will amount to gross misconduct.

PC Claire Riches will face a misconduct hearing on May 10, at 9:30am at Lincolnshire Police’s headquarters in Nettleham.
