PC Daniel Egerton has been charged with common assault.
He will next appear at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 for an initial hearing where he is expected to enter a plea to the charge.
Egerton, who is aged 41 years old, is based at Staffordshire Police’s Force Operations Department.
